That’s been a little bit of trial and error that’s been happening inside my life, thank god I’ve figured that out earlier… Did you remember when I said to act as your future self through breathing inside that character? Well, my perfectionism part of me kinda takes that part way too seriously in a way that I’m breathing through that character inside my mind rather than my own body… That led me to a stressed, glitched, anxious girl who's been having trouble sleeping for a week.
Did I see this coming? I meant, come on, it was like my thoughts still tell me that alignment of the movement is what I need to do as my “future-self”. But the missing point is that letting you move in a way that is fully present inside your body, the movement brings those thoughts rather than the opposite ones. Gosh, there are moments where I get a really perfect day, but during the night, I couldn’t sleep just because she tries to get me to replicate that exact movement of what I did that time to get those same moments the next day. Meanwhile, the truth is that what I was doing was coming from my mind instead of the full set of movement through my body to my mind. You know what was funny? It was the mind that always wanted to check up on me because she used to be so full of what safety feels like, having nothing to be worried about, and it became a threat inside my heart.
It’s that the movement, the minute you let the mind become that narrative through your expectation, you misalign that with "Oh, this is already expected, so I might as well use the same script all over again”. The funny thing is when you already know who you truly are, to do that will create that different level of the state that came from fear, doubt, and urgency that my heart immediately can feel that I tried to go into that performance mode, rather than be as present as you can in that role that came with the real you who wants to experience anything in this world.
It was really the intention you had, without letting your mind tell you what to do. Does that make sense? It’s about moving immediately into that role without thinking, "Oh, which role am I going to use for the day?" rather than showing your truest selves because you know who you are; you already know which direction that you need to pick, so much so that you no longer think but act. Well, talking about this leads me to a second point….
Have you ever thought of what your future self will feel, behave, and act at the start… That full set of self-identity that you want to make your body feel so familiar that it can recognize it inside your body. It’s that gesture of inhabiting a new person to become that specific person in a way that your version feels like home. I remembered what Neville Goddard said about “Assume the state of the wish fulfilled.” That means you already have anything you want; you just haven’t noticed it yet inside your body as "safety." To make that safety means to let your body feel that wish through your imagination so much until it can start remembering itself as “This is who I am." Therefore, you no longer believe what your mind said, but stay inside that fulfillment role so much that reality starts to crystallize through your external eyes.
To be in that main character role of what you want is to be fully all-in with the mindset that this is what normal will feel like, which means you no longer grasp what your mind told you to do, but simply focus on what your body and sensations make you feel. To do that, you want to create a new so-called "jumping to a new timeline ritual” in a way to make your awareness recognize that moving forward in motion. This is the article that I wrote about how to make myself remember who I truly am through that muscle repetition as my main character role.
To live inside your dream life is to make that dream become so recognizable inside your body that you no longer see it as impossible, but rather as something obvious to experience. It means that you teach your body in a way through that new level of sensation so much that you start to remember it through that movement that you do inside your body. You future-rehearse yourselves so much inside the life that you experience until it becomes your full new set life that’s arrived inside without needing your mind to remind you anymore.
Lastly, you just need to stop letting your mind tell you what to do, but use your body to do the movement, as that future role that stays inside until it becomes who you truly are permanently. Living in this world is truly about a constant inhabiting of your main character through every movement that you do until the external world delivers you something that you will no longer brace but see as someone whose normal to experience.
