Why Presence Is a Daily Practice for Your Nervous System

This week has been such a mix between torn, pleasurable, whimsical, and emotional in a way that I no longer brace but start to allow life to reveal itself inside my body. To do that, I will most likely welcome this joyful part of me back inside the life that I’ve had… Well, at least that’s what ChatGPT and Mom said to me… “You’ve been too conscious inside your life, which makes you become a really serious human being who forgets how to play inside your own movies.” Guess what? I just realized I’ve been living inside those old memories of the mind narrative that I once had inside my imagination about how to live the life that I want. Well, truth be told, a while ago, I took that as something that I needed to live differently in a way that I only train my awareness to solely focus on the goal that I want. The missing sauce is I become my eyes for my own behaviour that leads me to create that illusion of anxiety and fear when in reality I’ve been blessed to have all this privilege of creating my own website, branding, substack, and most importantly, the book that I’m eager to finish as soon as I can… And guess what? Last Saturday, I was in the airport feeling heavy in my chest, and it somehow led me to a situation where I called my mom, and she told me to see a psychologist, which I had once considered ages ago, which immediately cheered me up in a way that I almost forgot how much of a blessing that I’ve had the whole time. Again, it’s that level of grounded and thirsty for your dream that you need to be able to balance it out; otherwise, if you are such a perfectionist type of girl like me, you will most likely end up living inside your own mind…

And when that happens... That’s where you lose the real power that can actually lead you to where you want to be… Groundedness is when you choose yourself back inside your body to let your mind digest about the life that you’ve been experiencing for a while through the lens of who you truly are… It’s the default system where you stop doing and start living inside without getting in the mind. I mean, truth be told,

This is where life just shows me again that it will always be moving forward, and so will you. So, today’s topic that I’ll speak about is that you need to know exactly what you want, not what this world taught you, because it will always be between you and yourself that will attract that aligned experience, moment, and opportunities in a way that you no longer think about but allow yourself to move as “normal.” When I said that, it meant you need to let your body feel first, and your mind will be the one that determines if that’s truly for you to begin with. It’s that level of feeling full inside, as who you truly are, that you no longer negotiate but go straight to exactly what you are looking for. It’s that level of certainty that you should plant inside your body until it starts to recognize it as your new baseline. That new baseline is that internal feeling that you want to consistently live inside until your soul can start recognizing it as the real you. That’s the only way to rebirth yourself through the lenses of a new level of possibilities that you want to experience.

By all means, you want to start using your mind to imagine the life that you want inside your body to make her feel that fulfillment-receiving state that you’ve been neglecting the whole time, and from that state you consistently choose to live inside it through the life that you have in a way of your moving, behaving, and acting until that state crystallizes and becomes the role that you once imagined. You want to start to focus on that somatic sensation that you put your body through in that state, in a way that you are completely moving as that character of who you want to be. It’s through that sensation of what your body calls safety, using that new state, that you consume when you imagine the life that you want. It’s the way to make your body remember who you truly are, through the new sensations you let it feel until they become a new normal in your life. You want to align your thoughts with who you truly are by simply living within the new sensation your body recognizes as “home.” Home is where you are aligned in a way with how you live inside your body and through the life that you choose to respond to. It’s that inner coherence of how you let yourself be the one who responds in the life that you have. It’s that through the projection of what your body feels safest to exist in, to the life that you have. Therefore, every day is a new beginning for you to choose to show the world that you can either let them pick it for you or take your power by sitting inside that new state and moving in a way that you believe is normal for you to experience. It’s to let your soul start to remember who you truly are through that repetition of how you choose to show up by staying inside that character the whole time. It’s through practice to stay in a relationship with being alive. It’s about the hygiene of presence.
