This is How Embodiment Feels Like Inside Your Body

Welcome back to this episode of my life that’s been full of a new set of ideas popping into my head, new inventions that feel like catching my eye, and a life that I’ve been purposely breathing under my future destination.

Well, this morning while I blow-dried my hair, I noticed how my mind has been keeping giving me this sign of “expand,” “movement,” and “something new that feels like you will be able to tackle this.”

Placed me inside a fresh set of identity that came from a new structural presentation proposal that I just made yesterday to be fully signed up for the wellness club, and I just had a meeting yesterday afternoon.

It somehow caught my eye on this specific thing that I’ve currently noticed about this role, which is within me. A role that has actually been there the whole time doesn’t matter, no matter what the mind thinks through, but the way I choose to feel and live through my truest essence of who I am is the only life that exists through me.

It reminded me of this sentence: “We are all spiritual beings who are caged inside this ‘psychological’ fiction of our own making.” This cuts me deeply but at the same time also kind of gave me this inner voice of “I might’ve been being hard on myself sometimes.”

It was like when you might find yourself not truly living your life but becoming the observer of your internal state by living inside your head rather than your own body. Yep… Therefore, for this episode, I will specifically talk about the true meaning of embodiment and self-identity and what exactly this can bring to the life that we’ve no longer thought about but fully live within ourselves.

A truer meaning of embodiment is no longer using your mind to think of the next step further; rather, it becomes the belief that you’ve planted inside your body by giving the body evidence of who you are becoming in this chapter of your life, without the need to immediately look for the proof that “I am doing well.”

It’s the practice of feeling comfortable being inside your body without the need to immediately react, speak, move, and decide. To trust yourself more by not continuously placing other thoughts of your “vision,” “belief,” and “motivation,” but rather a quiet calm inside your body that you can provide yourself, is the way you give trust and faith to yourself more than anything else.

It’s by peeling constant movement from your body by standing still with yourself until you can start to notice who you are and which role you’ve been placing yourself in.

I remembered I randomly read about “You need to breathe physically first” before placing yourself in the world. That alone became another mind’s project-ish thing that, when I immediately gave myself to that sentence alone, the way I showed up naturally became the way the mind’s been just calculating it for me.

Whereas, embodiment means having your own authority over your actions. It’s when everyone says something opposite to what you feel, and you stand still with your decision and vision. It’s when it feels like what you want is so far away, but you keep living your life as someone who already knew that this vision would become yours eventually. By only living under the authority of your life, you start placing yourself purposely and intentionally aligned with who you are today.

I remembered I booked myself an event for this evening about women’s empowerment. It became everything that my mind can capture and led me to come from where my soul can be recognized and needed from a place of my present self.

It’s like the internal architecture inside of my heart is growing into something that is completely different than it used to be. The desire, vision, community, interest... It was like a full upgrade of internal software that just naturally put me into booking another spontaneous trip to Brisbane, got me into a TED event, found a coworking space that feels like me, found a spiritual community that nourished my mind, and gave me a purpose that I’ve placed myself through my voice and sentences on social media platforms.

Food for thought that I also want to introduce you to is a “desire.” It is totally bullsh** as a human to not have any desires that can help us to keep moving forward. Desire is a foundation of humanity to be able to grow, shape, and move towards that desire through the journey itself that life will meet you throughout the way. Perhaps with a conversation that feels like something that just stabbed your heart, a presentation that feels like it’s aligned with the brand that you’ve been working on, or moving to a new city to accept that new offer you just had. Nonetheless, it all came with one desire: that you fill your life in between space with something that is aligned with your desire’s identity itself.

Well, talking about a desire’s identity, I want to welcome you to this becoming session online that I will host on 17 September at 7 PM Melbourne time.

Becoming Session

Now, let’s talk about a desire’s identity that might catch your mind, wondering what that's supposed to mean for the life that you’ve currently built for yourself.

Desire’s identity is when you internally want to build this one specific avatar that feels like who you are. Perhaps the life that specifically sounds like a desire to have your own business that you’re working on. On top of that, a rhythm of how you can produce this avatar is the only life that this avatar can recognize the life itself. It means the type of thoughts that come from your vision until it becomes your next obvious direction, what you choose naturally.

It’s like how you can redecorate your inner universe from something that once kept you from acting towards that specific thing to something completely different that’s coming from the role of who you’ve currently built inside of yourself.

It’s when you start to give yourself daily evidence of who you are through how you choose to show up for yourself inside your body, in the moment of what currently appears through you. It means that, while you are doing something, what thoughts that you’ve produced yourself with, are you inside your own body and fully able to savor and be there and digest what’s just happening through you?

Are you there the whole time when the situation appears inside you, with the ability to provide the internal feeling of how you choose to act and feel while you are inside that moment?

What role has that you’ve produced yourself inside your body that has become the safest repetition that you’ve given yourself? Is it a calm with full inner certainty that you can just exist and let whatever surprises appear through you, that you can stand still like someone who belongs, speak up for yourself, and only act from a place of who you are internally? Your own perspective on how you perceive something?

In this chapter that you’re currently walking on, what feels right for you to act on that will place you in two different scenes: either you leave your old behind and start moving with your faith within yourself, or you keep circling back into the same thing while the mind has been continuously placing a new desire that feels like the type of expansion that you deserve?

One thing I’ve learned to recognize is an expansion: the role that you’ve chosen to play is the only thing that can bring a new matter’s foundation layer of who you are becoming to start to reappear, like your own thoughts that placed you to do the act within yourself naturally.

It’s like an ongoing communication between who you are internally, using your body to do the action to be able to get the full experience for this role that you’ve played.

A life that exists only through repeating what you’ve been building for yourself, so much so that the next turning point becomes just another ordinary day of how you’ve been living your life internally.

The life that starts to be visible is when you know your ground, who takes that main seat inside your body, what action becomes your new normal, and the ability to hold more experience from one role that is coming from your present self.

A present self who can perceive a new sense of what truly matters in your life now, no more impulsive decisions that come from fear, and always by placing the right feet on the ground before you experience your life.

Placing your feet on the ground, to feel the air under your skin, your feet planted into the floor while you are living your life, is a way of letting the body know who you are internally. Not from what the mind taught you to do this and that, but from what you feel is the right act to do, one at a time.

A small pause in between, a random stare at the buildings in front of you, and conversations with your colleagues are how you give a body the precise life that you’re experiencing within currently.

The intention here is the ability to be able to hold more life internally without letting your mind think while you are inside the experience that you’ve had, to teach the body that this life is safe, meant by having the capacity to do one specific role that sounds like a life that you’ve built for yourself until reality starts to reflect that to your eyes.

A specific goal that you can hold while everything feels like it appeared through you, by only standing with one specific internal role that feels like who you are becoming and letting others become as simply as a facilitator of your future destination along the way.

That’s how you reintroduce your body to the life that you’ve been holding on to. By giving your body the feeling of the role that you always choose to show up within, through daily movement and socializing, all those came from a role in which you’ve been introducing your body repetitively.

The body only remembered the life that you’ve inhabited through how you spoke up, acted on, and decided from an inner role in your body that navigated the life through you. It can feel like the most unfamiliar situation to be in sometimes, but let’s make this become just another adventure of how you introduce a life that feels like your normal way of living.

Each thought and emotion that you want to introduce into your dream life through your present moment is simply needed to come from the role that is currently living inside your body. You acted on it and explored her a little bit more. Get to know more about what she likes, doesn’t like, and is interested in.

Everything will always change, and the type of change itself comes only from your authority-based way of decision and action, or the role that you’ve outgrown, or the familiar pattern of thinking in the mind.

To welcome change into your life is a must to give you a new sense of inspiration, ideas, and creativity, but the change itself should only come from a role that you’ve currently breathed under your future.

Change and evolve that you provide yourself daily by giving a new experience from a place of your present-self intention to give a new space within yourself a landed visibility is the only thing that matters.

Well, if you are in a major life transition that places you inside a situation where you don’t know who you are anymore or the purpose that you have in your life. I’ve created this 1:1 Restoration Space to help you find the life that feels like you:

1:1 Restoration Spaces

Also, if you are recently in a space of finding your own rhythm or pace that feels like the in-between space of who you are becoming, I’ve created this Restoration Library for you to practice:

To really know who you are meant to be, stop giving your attention to the world and start creating a life from your body right now. Not tomorrow. Or for the next 10 minutes. But now. The only way of giving a visible future to become yours eventually is through intentional daily action, from the belief that this will get you to the vision that you’ve had once.

Your Subconscious Besties,

Liona
