To resist the urge to change our attention itself, no matter how much this attention industry can offer us, we can simply put our eyes on it repetitively until it becomes an urge that pushes us to move forward to get that thing. Well, isn’t that one of the superpowers that all humans have within us? I think that was so cool, especially if the attention through the mind itself can help us to get to where we wanted to be…
Well, by doing so, the first thing that came across through my observation was which internal character that you’ve consistently let stay inside your body? Is it someone who’s still figuring out what life truly means for you? Or the manifestation era of fake- it till you make it through vision boards and words of affirmation daily? Or those self-growth contents that you’ve consumed each day as proof to your world that I am on this self-development journey?
Don’t want to sound so harshed but all of these things that you’ve been doing- when the internal character was still living inside that architecture of 2024- what you’ve been doing will just repeat the same old cycles that led you nowhere but in a state of reaching for other things, and I think that was such a waste of time when you keep doing it without knowing the real direction of the destination itself. By all means, you are doing all these things, but the type of lifestyle, action, and decisions are still coming from the same old version of yourself now. Before we begin, this article will explain a little bit of what the real action and meaning behind embodiment are that you can apply to your life:
I used to think that experiencing the life that I want is coming from how much intensity that I choose for myself, or by just following what the internet taught me about their own version of “living my dream life” or all those manifestations that came with fireworks’ final ending… Whereas the truth is that manifestation and embodiment are just a version of yourself that you choose consistently to stay inside your body the minute you open your eyes until the night you go to bed.
And in between those hours of your life, you choose the action itself through how you put yourself out there repetitively as that character of what you want to experience. It’s by doing it right now by choosing that action without waiting for any permission or signs from others. It’s to stay inside that future character and consciously do the movement of what your future self will be doing in your normal daily life itself until it stays permanently inside your body. It becomes the way you show up naturally without needing any type of motivation. That's also the foundation of every conversation inside the Restoration Space. We don't try to create another version of you. We simply create enough space for the version that's already there to become more familiar.
You are becoming that obvious character who's living inside that specific reality itself because how much of alignment in a way of how I choose to show up and express myself to the world that I’ve experienced right now. The character inside your body is the one who can start to recognise the direction itself that came from a specific identity that you’ve been practising inside your body right now. Therefore, I create this article about how I’ve been breathing inside that avatar that sounds like a specific storyline that my consciousness chose to entertain:
The truth about life is the character inside your body will always be changing through how you pay attention. Pay attention to which character you consciously entertain that is aligned with your future by living inside that inner alignment of how you show up and express yourself like a normal human being. It’s not through how you go into an immediate performance mode or forcing yourself because that’s who I am. No, no, no. Rather than staying inside that character of how you perceive yourself and only focus on the character of who you’re becoming, and respond to what is currently happening to you right now.
Your only focus was that inner character inside your body that you choose to stay in through that specific belief of who I am; therefore, this is how I choose to show up to the world right now. It’s like this character that I’ve currently been breathing on has been focusing on building her career specifically on self-growth and psychology, as well as through creating content on my social media, especially on my Substack, TikTok, and YouTube. It’s through how the character itself can evolve into another character that I’ve consistently practised myself inside my life until reality starts to give that new direction that I can recognise by myself. And the more you choose to stay inside that specific motion of how you show up, the mind itself will integrate and align with how you want to fill your days. Therefore, the world is simply to facilitate the recognition of how you perceive yourself, in a way that choosing to get those specific things becomes so obvious and normal for you to have. You no longer need to think; rather, you need to allow yourself to naturally move inside it.
There is this method that I’ve currently learned for myself; it was to let my awareness simply focus inward, which means being able to feel my feet, the air on my skin, pay attention to my ribs… And that gesture put my attention back to who I truly am; it was like I saved this attention to an actual desire timeline that I want to experience. It became me being so intentional with what I choose to pay attention to that is aligned with who I am. I no longer scatter that attention on something that no longer serves me. In fact, many of the reflections inside the Restoration Library were born from this exact practice of returning my attention to myself whenever the outside world became louder than my own voice.
To pay attention back to your body requires these things that I’ve noticed really help me a lot:
-
Create a non-negotiable morning routine that sounds like your future you. For me, the minute I open my eyes, I have an immediate thought: today is a new day, and I made myself breakfast. After that, I either take myself for a walk or an exercise class as a gesture that my day has started. That gesture is a signal to your body that you start your day as someone ready to conquer the day right. The key here, when you are doing that activity, is not to make it a routine that your present self couldn’t fully show up, but rather to always make yourself fully inside your body and choose that specific “start the day ritual” with that intentional action.
I also love to start my day with that cold shower that puts my body into a fight-or-flight response, making my eyes clearer and signaling “showing up as the best version of myself”. In fact, it always brings me that endorphin hit immediately to my brain that puts me into a high energy that is enough for the day. I also like to get my body directly to the sun first thing in the morning. It helps me to feel nervous system regulation, and the heat just makes me feel happier and better; also, it is a healthy stimulation that my system loves to have.
Breathwork is really helpful as well to help you perceive who you are in a way of how you choose to show up to the world. The truth is everything is spiritual, and the way we overcome life is through that mind psychologically that you’ve repetitively put yourself into. So, with the breathwork itself, consistently practising for yourself can help in a way of the type of belief about how your mind has been consumed over you that you can start to untangle it by choosing the one belief of who you are itself.
Your body is coming from the mind, body, and spirit that you’ve nurtured in a way of the repetition of beliefs that you put in your mind, the lifestyle that you choose that can help your body to be nourished, and the way you make constant action and decisions that shape the spirit of who you are becoming.

I never let myself touch my phone immediately the minute I wake up in the morning. You need to know that the minute you open your phone, all those stressed hormones will immediately be consumed in the way you will show up today. Instead, you choose to go on an immediate morning routine before you let your mind have that taste of what the digital world has to offer you.
I also always minimised the way I used social media and was really intentional with what I chose to do inside it. It trained my brain to only use my phone as simply as a tool for what I needed. The more I choose to do that, the more it will just ripple that back to me.
When you get into so much dopamine hit consumed through social media, the way you think will always come from immediate fireworks, and the mind will get so addicted to always stay on the whole time, whereas in reality it was all just the part of your brain that you’ve been putting yourself into.
The healthier way to get that dopamine hit was through something else in this world that doesn’t need to put your mind into that digital world. The lesson here is to not let the digital world have power over you; rather, you are the one who consciously and intentionally picks something that can help you to get where you wanted to be, not for the sake of making your brain stay “on”.
Another thing that truly helped me was that, 2-3 hours before bed, I stopped playing with my phone and chose to read something before I slept. It really helps to put my mind in a more mindful state and concentrate on doing a specific task that I need to overcome during the day.

Practising will always outweigh intensity. It's also why most of what I create, whether it's inside the Restoration Library or the Restoration Space, isn't designed to give you another breakthrough. It's designed to give your body something it can return to again and again.
By all means, I would prefer you to stay intentionally for 10 minutes of your day doing what your future role will do for the next 3 months, rather than how hard and quickly you are doing, without letting yourself actually stay inside your body and act the movement continuously.
I observed that everything will become just a “routine” rather than the person who we become inside to be the one who takes that continuous direction. It becomes the mind that learns through yesterday’s movement to take that action instead. It no longer becomes the main character of who you are becoming; it is the one that takes the lead. And when you want to experience that future reality of who you are, it is to let the ones within us become the main driver of the seat inside our body the whole time.
And that inner self will always be moving with calm certainty, knowing that precise and obvious direction of where we are going. It doesn't scatter with what our mind does to us; it is simply that specific future character that you let stay inside our body until it becomes who you really are. That future self doesn’t move hurriedly or work hard to get there; she/he knew their place had been sealed under their name. And what you need to do is to let it exist inside your body now through practising the role itself until the body feels so familiar with it.
That means the inner conversation between yourself and your mind needs to be aligned with what your future self will normally think. The type of belief that you let yourself fully experience is one of the essential things for you to invest in. The daily interaction between this inner character and how you show up comes with alignment of showing your body that “This is who I am now.”
And that’s how you let that future-soul of who you are become the one that is leading the direction of the life that sounds like your future destination. So, stop looking to this world, rather than simply exist with that borrowed nervous system that you’ve chosen to consistently act inside your life now until it becomes who you are. Everything that you want is within you the whole time, simply waiting for you to unleash it through how you express yourself now.
Your Subconscious Besties,
Liona
